Security robot for industry, logistics and substations

Industrial parks, logistics centres, factories and substations with long fences and few staff at night. The SX-1 robot drives fences, loading bays and gates and sends every alert, with a photo and position, to your security company or your ARC.

01The problemIndustry, logistics and substations

Infrequent checks on large sites

Outside working hours, many sites have few or no staff, and perimeter checks become infrequent.

  1. Infrequent checks

One security officer covers gates, buildings and loading bays at once. Between one check and the next, much of the fence goes unseen.

  2. Unstaffed substations

Many run with nobody on site and in remote areas, at risk of copper theft and intrusion into the electrical compound.

  3. Loading bays and lorry parks

Loading and lorry areas far from the gatehouse, with no activity during the night.

Person by the substation

Detects a person by the substation fence. Your security company’s officer gets the alert in SeaX Live, with image and position, and decides the response.

The night’s alerts stay in SeaX Core, with their photos and who decided, for your team and your security company.

In industry, with the security company you already have

  • Your security company’s officer operates the SX-1 from their post with SeaX Live.
  • They see every alert with an image and position and decide the response.
  • At unmanned substations, the alert goes to your ARC.

Working with what you already have

It works alongside your cameras, your security company and your ARC.

Fixed cameras and perimeter sensors
The SX-1 covers the stretches your fixed cameras cannot reach.
Your security company
More perimeter covered with the same team: the officer on duty operates the SX-1 from their post with SeaX Live, along fences and loading bays, and decides on every alert.
Your alarm receiving centre (ARC)
With SeaX Connect, the SX-1 sends every alert to your ARC with image, classification and position: it is compatible with the standard ARC protocol. The centre verifies it and handles the response under your contract with it.

Questions about industry, logistics and substations

More questions in Security companies
Can it cover a substation?

It can drive along the substation’s perimeter fence. Driving inside the electrical compound depends on safety clearances and the owner’s rules.

Can it tell a worker from an intruder?

No: the system cannot tell whether a person is authorised. The alert reaches whoever handles it, your security company or your ARC, with the image, and they decide whether it is real. Each zone also has its own schedule and can be paused during maintenance work, with an end time.

Can it cover several plots in an industrial park?

It depends on the roads and access between plots. We assess it with you using the park plan before the demo.

What does it do when it detects someone?

It places them on the site map and sends the alert, with image and position, to your security company’s post, where it shows up in SeaX Live. Their security officer decides on every alert and can escalate it to your ARC. The response stays with whoever handles the alert.

How is data about my staff handled?

The robot privacy policy explains it: what data it captures and how it is handled.
